Alen's musical story is closely connected to the evolution of Sarajevo's alternative rock scene.

His early years were marked by punk and underground culture, performing with Dr. Kontradicio and later founding Sarajevski Atentat, which subsequently became known as Atentat.

His musical path continued through projects including Damar, Konvoj, Beastly Stroke and Zoch where he helped  shape the scene as the frontman of the band Beastly Stroke. Those formative years, along with his involvement in  bands Pakt 5, Major, and Atentat in his hometown of Sarajevo during the war and siege of the 1990s, played a defining role in his life. At a time when war surrounded him, music offered an illusion of normality and profoundly shaped his artistic identity.

During the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, music became more than an artistic pursuit. Through performances in besieged Sarajevo and participation in events such as Rock Under the Siege and the Labatie Festival in Geneva, music represented freedom, resilience and the determination to keep creating.

Later, his career took him across Europe and America, performing with artists and bands including Zabranjeno pušenje, Dino Merlin and Tifa.

He also collaborated with renowned regional musicians such as Zdenka Kovačiček, Dado Topić, Aki Rahimovski and Milić Vukašinović.

Each experience brought new musical perspectives, but never replaced his desire to develop his own artistic voice.
